For postdoc positions, experience in at least one of the following fields is preferred:
Protein design and engineering
Mouse (or rat) intracranial injections
Mouse (or rat) behavior experiments
Optical microscopy and imaging
Molecular biology and cell culture
Brain histology and immunohistochemistry
Molecular, cellular, or systems neuroscience
Prospective PhD students are encouraged to apply to the graduate program, Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS), at the University of Michigan. Please select "Cell & Developmental Biology" as the preferred program when applying to PIBS. We also accept students in other graduate programs at the University of Michigan, such as the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program and the Neuroscience Graduate Program.
